This place is ideal if you want to get away from bustle of cities. Location is probably the biggest plus - lots of trails nearby, peace and quiet. For such remote place the accomodation is suprsingly well equipped - pots, pans, cups, cutlery, dishes, microwave, coffee maker. Place was also clean and comfy - in short really great.

A beautiful spacious house with stunning clean rooms and a large comfortable terrace hidden amidst a profusion of flowers that provide peace and privacy. From the terrace, there is a view of the entire Funchal. I must mention the kind and attentive owner who gave us a lot of valuable advice on how to navigate Madeira, where to go, and was always available whenever we needed something.

The mamagers of the property were so nice to us, helped us with several things during our stay. We would rate the hospitality 10/10! The flat was modern and clean. Provided us with everything we needed including a cheap parking in a garage in the building.

The property is even nicer in real life than in the pictures. Various chillout areas, with swing chairs, hammock, loungers, etc. Constantly cleaned heated pool with panoramic view. Barbeque area with a generous dining space. The fact that the property is partly in a natural cave and the authentic, welcoming design makes the whole stay a unique experience. Good little shop and poncha bar nearby!
