The Vi l'Art Wine Lodge was chosen to us due to the location and extremely good rating, place is and 1800's country house close to Cava region and Barcelona. Montserrat is easily accessed from here. Also great hiking areas are just nearby. Hosts Laura and Lalo are keeping the place in great shape, the food they make is great and the service level is something totally else than what you can wait. Lalo is a great cook and the vine's they chose to the meals were so good! We were there during hot season, but the location close to the hills and how they make the house work makes it a cool oasis even during hot days. We hope to make it back there some day. One of the best experiences in our many visits in northern Spain and Barcelona area. No kids means that they can only serve adults on the level what they like to keep. This is to keep the place as good as possible for the target audience.

Ingrid and family were a delight. The rooms and facilities were beautiful and incredibly clean. In some places the swimming pools look a little unclean by September, but here it was crystal clear. The home is in a really great location too. A 5 minute walk from a train station directly into town, so you don't need to worry about parking. Fabulous.
