Originally, I was arriving earlier than expected and when I messaged the property they were super accommodating and confirmed an early check in. Unfortunately, things changed, and we arrived later than expected yet the property was again very accommodating to my arrival and checking in to the property was easy! Completely quiet location, spotlessly clean, very nicely furnished, comfortable beds. Anti-midge nets in bedroom windows! The bathtub with Scottish salts and bubblebath available for guests makes it practically a wellness stay for weary hikers. A beautiful welcome pack from hosts. Hiking and biking guides available on the bookshelves. Very prompt and easy communication with hosts. For a family of 4 ideal. There is no kitchenette with a stove/sink but that is duly notified beforehand and you find all the necessary dishes and utensils and a microwave to still have a simple dinner at home - plus the hosts take care of the dishes! For those dining out, easy walk to the lovely village with several good restaurants.
