The place was very quiet and so serene that you feel part of the environment. Amazing for a one-two day getaway. Given how close it is to the lake, the experience of staying here will only get better if they trim the bushes and trees to have a better view of the lake.

The location is great and the view breathtaking. We had an amazing time and would happily go back and stay even longer.

The lodge is bang in the middle of the reserve and you get into the game thrill the minute you drive through Lanet gate. Mr Edwin and Ms Friedah at the reception were absolute rockstars as we were coming in during night time. We were very well looked after. The rooms were clean and spacious. Mozzie nets were well set up. Special mention for the restaurant and Chef Nicholas who promptly assured us of Halal meals for dinner, brekkie and lunch, and even produce the halal certificates. This attention was much appreciated. The safari was arranged through the Lodge itself and Mike our driver and guide was brilliant with plenty of tidbits and fun facts along the way. The sauna and pool was accessible despite having checked out.

The food was great, nice bar, the facilities were exceptional, but most of all I loved the staff. They went out of their way to make sure we everything. Especially Charles! He went over and above, Mary at the restaurant as well.
