But the best was yet to come. In Montenegro, it's a tradition to celebrate the birth of a baby boy. The owner of the property had 3 girls, but just had his first boy and it was celebration time! They invited us for the party, with something like 150 people. What a party! What a local experience. Will never forget. Of course we realized we wouldn't be able to sleep that night, and ended up leaving earlier. The owner refused to accept money for both nights that we stayed there! And on the first one there was no party going on at all. The generosity of this family will stay in my heart forever.

The house is actually even better than in the photos — everything was very very clean, and each guest had their own set of towels. There’s also a barbecue area on the property, which we used and really enjoyed. It’s very quiet and peaceful in the surrounding area. A few additional highlights: - two air conditioners (one on each floor), - fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for cooking, as well as wine glasses, cups, a capsule coffee machine and capsules, - in the bathroom: shampoo, shower gel, and a washing machine.
