Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. The owners were so nice and helpful in welcoming us for one night. The lodge is spectacular and offers views you can’t find anywhere else in the world. The staff is also super.

Situated on the banks of the Tsauchab River, Hoodia Desert Lodge offers accommodation close to the Sesriem Gate. The lodge offers an outdoor pool. Our stay at Hoodia Lodge was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a special place — peaceful, breathtaking, and full of heart. The scenery was so beautiful that the sundowner almost brought me to tears; it was one of those rare moments that truly stays with you. The staff were exceptional — caring, attentive, and genuinely kind. You could feel that they truly wanted to make every moment perfect, and they did. Their warmth and thoughtfulness made us feel completely at home. The trip to the dunes was an absolute highlight. Our guide, Paolo, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, which made the experience even more meaningful. Everything about Hoodia Lodge felt deeply personal and special. It’s one of those rare places that touches your heart — a place I would return to in a heartbeat. It truly felt like home.

This was just our luck to visit the place on weekdays and during lower season, thus we had an absolute privacy. Only us and nature! The chalets, restaurant, viewing terraces, and the pools areas were spotlessly clean, well designed, and professionally served. Great experience!

Towering over the red sand dunes of the Namib Desert, this 4-star lodge offers an outdoor pool and a dining terrace overlooking a floodlit waterhole. Large and very well-kept complex of spacious, clean and comfortable cottages, right next to the entrance to Sossusvlei Park, which was our objective to visit. We stayed for one night and spent a relaxing evening.

A little bit too expensive for us, from South Africa, but our self catering unit was 10/10! We could braai and sit outside, nice big kitchenette and big room and nice bathroom facilities.
