Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne. Luisa was incredible! We stayed 3 nights here and loved our time. It was relaxing and filled with making us feel at home! She provided us with a fridge full of food upon arrival and a small bottle of her own wine. Each morning she bought us fresh bread, cakes, eggs, juice etc which was such a nice touch! As we were heading out one morning she caught us and showed us the wine being made in the process which was fantastic to see! Always a text or call away and lots of recommendations and even offer to use the pool in her other property. We couldn’t recommend this place more - perfect location for a stay in the Douro Valley!

We also tasted local wine produced by the family which is of high quality. The surrounding area is beautiful for nature lovers and Alijo itself is an attractive and charming town.
