The sauna worked and got nice and hot, the hot tub was also nice. We loved the house, everything we needed was there. The beds were nice and comfortable and very clean. The location is great, close to both the Slovak Paradise and the Tatra Mountains. The settlement is almost 800 m above sea level and the night time temperatures stayed safely below 20 C in the beginning of August and we did not have to use the AC. The owner is very communicative and helpful and she stays in the house nextdoor, so it's easy to get help if necessary. The house is very well maintained and furnished. The kitchen is a bit small but well-equipped. We liked the sleeping arrangement in the loft.

Far from town in the middle of the forest (national park).

The house was in side the national park area, very quiet, but only a few minutes away (by car) from a nearby city. The house is surrounded by forest, and even in hot days it was pleasantly cool. The hosts were helpful and responsive, offered useful tips on trails we could hike.
