The definition of cabin in the middle of nowhere in the best sense. It is a rustic cabin, the bathroom is an outdoor one so has its own entrance through the back of the cabin. We had a lovely, private stay with the most beautiful sunsets . Our host Caroline was very nice and helpful. There's a little path you can take through the garden that leads into the forest, and it's magical. You must bring your own supply as the nearest shop is about 20 minutes drive away but it's worth it and you can braai in the fire pit outside. Perfect stay if you're looking to be off the grid but still be close to the Tsisikamma park.

We thought it was excellent value for money and wish we were able to stay longer.

Other amenities include tea and coffee making facilities. Excellent staff, well located, tasty food, comfortable bed and great hot water and pressure in the shower. We especially enjoyed the wood stove and watching the baboons.
