A great area to go and explore, with stunning views up to the mountains and back over the plains towards Mendoza. We had a fantastic day horse riding with La Quebrada del Condor (ideally you hire a 4 wheel drive or you get them to pick you up) and a day hiking the Confluencia route to the base camp of Aconcagua. There were some lovely isolated lodges on the east side of Embalse Potrerillos, which we would loved to have stayed in, but they were fully booked.Guest review byJJ10United Kingdom

The hostel is full of amazing animals and everyone was so helpful. The host wasn’t here but helped us order taxis and transport and gave us all the information necessary.
