A must-see for those interested in Celts and Mining. The "Salzbergwerk Dürrnberg" is much much more interesting, than the overfamous "Salzbergwerk Hallstatt". Celtic Museum in Hallein ist really of value. The town itself has a very limited number of places to dine. Road to the hotel is quite steep, but nothing to worry about. It is managed by the lady, who was really nice, talkative, helpful and answered all of our questions. Room was good, clean, in old fashioned design with comfortable bed. It had a magnificient view at the mountains nearby. You can park next to the hotel. Family who runs the hotel lives in the house next to it, so we met daily. They are very nice and have a nice cute small cat. :)Guest review byAdamSlovakia
