Quite possibly the most magical place we have ever stayed! The views are simply magnificent. We had planned on going out exploring, however, we set ourselves up on the veranda with a bottle or two of wine and didn't move. The farm animals were just beautiful, as were the plentiful rabbits. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and provided all the facilities you would possibly need.

Peaceful, historic location in beautiful garden and surroundings some way off the road. Internally, tastefully furnished and decorated, very spacious, and superbly equipped. The hosts were friendly and welcoming as well as generous with provisions for breakfast and letting us use the laundry facilities. It was a nice touch to provide flowers freshly picked from the garden. There was lots of information on the local area too - Trowunna wildlife sanctuary, close by, is well worth a visit. One of the best properties we have ever stayed at.

Friendly staff and the platypus tour was a bonus. Rooms are up a flight or two of stairs, but suitcases can be brought inside via the 2nd floor. The single room and its associated bathroom were spotless! Continental breakfast was more than sufficient. I recommend staying here, and having dinner here, too.

The historic property and garden is wonderfully kept in pristine condition. If you want to stay in a historic mansion, this is the place! The snooker table is very special, even the Lodge in Canberra (Residency of Australia's prime minister) has it. I enjoyed my freshly cooked breakfast. Highly recommend to visit the nearby Artwork in Silk YARNS!
