We had 4 nights here and it was perfect. Beautiful location so close to many small towns and beautiful scenery. The gardens were gorgeous and it was lovely sitting under the oak tree in the afternoon watching the plovers and admiring the mountains in the distance. Also loved Chicken the cat and Chops the dog.

We received the best hospitality from these super hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. We really enjoyed the welcome brownies baked specially for us including the simple breakfast. The rooms and hall were so spacious. what impressed us is the bathroom was super large and comfortable. we enjoyed the back to nature feel of this apartment. Friendly staff and the platypus tour was a bonus. Rooms are up a flight or two of stairs, but suitcases can be brought inside via the 2nd floor. The single room and its associated bathroom were spotless! Continental breakfast was more than sufficient. I recommend staying here, and having dinner here, too.

The rooms, host and extensive, beautiful and artfully decorated property and grounds were amazing! We especially liked that we were free to use the common rooms and facilities and to help ourselves to drinks and snacks - making it feel like it was our manor for a day! The room upgrade so that our rooms could be close together was a very pleasant and appreciated surprise. Had a nice time chatting with the host as well. Even the history and heritage of the building were interesting - read about the property itself and its artworks in books scattered throughout the property. =)
