I didn’t spend a time in Cygnet as I was visiting a friend, but driving through I observed some lovely shops, a twice monthly Sunday market was well patronised, and I visited Ian Clare’s pottery studio across the road from the beautiful bay. Clean room in a sweet homestead by the water, with a good kitchen and a cosy fire in the lounge for those cool tassie nights. Look out for the fairy wrens flitting about in the morning on the lawn. Cygnet has good facilities and fuel and is just a few Ks away.
