I have travelled across Australia for work and holidays.

I have travelled across Australia for work and holidays. My experience staying at this place was one of the most avoidable at all costs for the following reasons: 1. The entire entrance via an alleyway is dark with no motion sensor lights. The lights are the cheap solar lights on the pathway that do not work. 2. The colour bond gate has a lock that is difficult to operate. A locksmith can certainly fix a key operated lock. Risk of hand injury. 3. There are no motion sensor lights at the front door and back door. It is scary to come in after sunset. SAFETY risk. 4. The security door locks for both front and back door do not work. 5. There were no keys at the designated lock box. The owners advised us that the house keeper may have taken it accidentally. 6. The shower taps are archaic and can be simply changed to two simple taps. 7. There were no spare toilet paper rolls in the property. We had to purchase toilet rolls from a nearby petrol station at 9 pm that night. 8. The batteries in the TV remote had to be replaced at our costs. The remote for Netflix did not work even after changing the batteries. There was no response from the owner. To put it simply an avoidable rickety junckster with useless antique furniture being sold an the USP.

The area is lovely but I think the accommodation premises requires some maintenance, particularly the outdoor areas, both front and back. The steps at the front door require a grab-rail, as it is difficult negotiating luggage without something to hold onto. The backyard could do with some TLC. The rug in the living area could be replaced with one that is a bit larger and looks more inviting. Overall, it was quite a comfortable stay and we were most grateful for the quiet, well-mannered neighbours.
