Very well furnished and well equipped for a motel room. Fully carpeted. Comfortable and warm bed. Sofa, small table with 2 chairs and a writing table as well! Small kitchenette with kettle and coffee machine with pods. Good location along the main street, short distance from the town centre. Certainly the best motel room we've ever stayed in! Thank you, Michael and team!

Staff very friendly and getting keys was quick and easy. Room was really nice, looked and smelled clean. The staff do a great job of maintaining the grounds! Also very quiet for a roadside motel. Would stay again or recommend to anyone in the area.

Due to recent fires, Mt Cole walks were closed.

Due to recent fires, Mt Cole walks were closed. However there was plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas. Lovely little country towns such as Avoca and Dunolly are within an hour drive. Also close by is Ararat with lots to do and every thing you may need (groceries, fast food, pubs, coffee shops).

This really is a beautiful place with wonderful surroundings...

This really is a beautiful place with wonderful surroundings and, of course, excellent local wines to taste. It is cosy with wood heater and aircon. It has a well stocked kitchen including coffee machine, generous living room and bedroom/ bathroom. The verandah allows for outside dining complete with Weber Bar-b-q. The winery (Mountainside Wines) is next door offering tastings and purchases. For some, the lack of tv and wifi might be a step to far. For others it is part of the attraction. In any case you are only 20km from Ararat.
