Orange is a vibrant oasis in the midst of the rolling hills of the Central Tablelands. Forget the fog and the frost, winter is absolutely the time to indulge in the best the region has to offer. I can honestly say that the food at the Union Bank was as good as anything I've had in Melbourne, and the beer and ambiance at Badlands Brewery was wonderful. Would love to see the Autumn trees and their beautiful colours. This time of year the trees were bare. The road up Mt Canobolas was narrow and a bit scary with cars coming quickly down. Lake Canobolas has a lovely cafe. The people friendly and welcoming.Guest review bySusanAustralia - 8.0

Super comfy bed and my room was very quiet (was street facing, vs other friends looked over the beer garden which obviously was not as quiet). My room was small - basically just the bed, wardrobe, bar fridge, tv and ensuite - but perfect for 1-2 guests. There was free parking around the corner too.
