Very impressed with the quality, especially for the price. Great, central location. I was very pleasantly surprised that there was no noise from the Kawana Waters hotel next door too. Everything was clean and looked like it had been recently renovated.

Perfect location, opposite the beach so 2 minutes from a swim in the waves at a patrolled beach, but 1 minute from a lovely relaxing and cooling lagoon pool, so could go in multiple times a day. Was too hot for the spa pool when I stayed, but would be great at some times of year. Lovely relaxing verandah table with views, nice to eat or read out there but could retreat inside to the sofa and air con if needed. Great facilities, washing machine, drying rack, [even a clothes dryer, though it wasnt needed]. Everything you needed for making a meal, so didn't always need to eat out. Nice extra little touches in the kitchen like some cooking oil, and fresh pepper grinder - thanks :-)

    Mark the owner was really approachable and was there if we needed anything , but did not intrude in anyway. If people expect 5-star accommodation at 1-star price, they may be disappointed, but The Palms was clean, compact and had everything we needed and was really great value for money we paid as it's in an ideal location with everything within walking distance.

    It’s about 15 min drive from Mooloolaba.

    It’s about 15 min drive from Mooloolaba. Not much to do in Parrearra - a nice couple of cafes In walking distance. The river walks looked pleasant but we spent most of our time at the beaches on the coast. Not much public transport around. You need a car.

    Time for a little TLC , front door will not latch and lock, base of kitchen tap leaks, gout in shower wall, under fridge needs a clean and also inside fridge door needs a wipe over. Having said that it was pleasure to be there.
