The cabins ,the grounds, were extremely clean. Very well maintained park . Very quiet park .. We stayed in a small cabin, it was enough for our needs . There are plenty of cooking facilities inside the cabin , plates , wine glasses, and utensils. Full-size fridge , TV , air conditioner There was plenty clean , modern bedding for all beds and plenty towels. Full size Toiletries were available, too Kids entertainment were great, water fountain pool for the little ones, a bigger pool for older kids. The staff were very helpful,friendly, and accommodating . The park is a 20 min walk from town,pier, water , cafes, pub, to the ferry to Raymond Island. Tucked away from the street noise . I highly recommend the stay .

Beautiful location along the water. Very clear manual of how everything in the appartment worked. Shops and ferry to Raymond island within walking distance. Very friendly staff. Bikes and kayaks for hire at a reasonable price.

We had a lovely stay despite rainy weather. Our young family of 4 stayed in a family room which was a really clean, thoughtful and comfortable space. The location was lovely and we saw kangaroos and rabbits. We did a longer walk to join the koala trail and walked along the pebbly shores of the lake which was also very beautiful.

Great walks to see birds and kangaroos in the wild. Raymond Island is worth more than one visit. Look at koalas and take the flora walk. The ferry is free for walk ons. A great base for day trips to Bainsdale and the hot Springs at Metung. (Book at peak holiday times)visit the pretty town at Metung too.

Paynesville will appeal to those looking to slow down and enjoy nature. Nestled in the Gippsland lakes, the town offers many trails, long days on the water and scenic sun sets.. The Sunday markets are great! IGA stocks all you need ….

A relaxing destination with lovely views lovely restaurants...

A relaxing destination with lovely views lovely restaurants and a wonderful cafe I enjoyed called Ginnys .Beautiful Raymond Island is a 3-minute Ferry Ride away to an island full of beautiful walking tracks, views and native Australian animals. Highly recommend Paynesville for a quiet destination to visit with gorgeous Gippsland Lake views.

Quiet town catering to Yachtees and Retirees. A destination, not a stopover, right in the middle of the Gippsland Lakes area. A much quiter "cousin" to Metung which is at the other end of Lake King. Also, much less "Touristy" and not as "Pricey". Quality accommodation is limited and often gets booked out, So book early in the busy season (Spring and Summer). Also a nice place to visit in Winter for that peaceful getaway and if you can find accommodation with a wood heater or open fireplace, all the better.

Location on the water was stunning.

Location on the water was stunning. Could not recommend our accommodation under any circumstances, it was so noisy & we hardly slept for our 3 day stay. Outrageous the owners are allowed to get away with renting out this sub-standard group of apartments.

Paynesville is quiet and a relaxing place to be.

Paynesville is quiet and a relaxing place to be. We had beautiful fish and chips on the beach and the walk around the foreshore after was great. The shops are few but all that you would need for a holiday. It is not a long drive to Bainsdale or Lakes Entrance if you need more. Dining out you have a few options, we went to the local Pub. Good meal, friendly staff. The atmosphere of Paynesville is most refreshing compared to city living.

Comfortable, spacious and well appointed unit in beautiful Paynesville. Large lounge/dining area and outdoor, covered deck. Plenty of pots and utensils along with a clean electric BBQ. Appreciate the easy keypad entry and no need for manager contact upon arrival or departure. Communication from the management prior to arrival was of the highest quality.

Will was easy to communicate with and very responsive prior to check in, and during our stay. The property was spacious and had all facilities and amenities we needed. The location was great, though I didn't stay in Paynesville for the entirety, other towns were a close drive.

Proximity to the water and Paynesville town were the highlights. The mooring was excellent and our main reason for picking this venue. Accomodation was comfortable and well appointed. We would certainly stay again at this time of year.
