Very peaceful location, rooms very spacious and spotless. Large bathroom but walk in shower. We weren’t there for the golf but still highly recommend. Breakfast was great, large portions and you can choose from the menu with tea/coffee. We had a great relaxing stay! Thank you

This house is absolutely stunning! It’s beautifully decorated and fully furnished with everything you could possibly need. Elissa was an incredible host—so easy to communicate with and incredibly generous. We felt right at home and will definitely be returning! The photos don’t capture how spacious and open the house feels, with tall ceilings and plenty of natural light. The linens were soft, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. Highly recommend!

Thank you Susan and Felix for such a wonderful stay!! I had booked this stay nearly 4 months ago and couldn't wait to stay the night! The room was so cosy and luxurious, bed was very comfy and the room was quite spacious. I walked in to some personal touches which was special. Check-in was easy and straightforward and instructions were clear. Location was perfect, less than 5 minute drive to the beach/Pier, shops and the hotsprings. I highly recommend this stay and I can't wait to come again soon 😍

The location is excellent to explore the peninsula. We visited Cape Schanck, Arthur’s Seat, Sorrento and the hot springs. These were all easy drives away. The property is secluded and peaceful. We stayed in the queen room which is clean, plush and very comfortable. We loved reading through the coffee table book The shower products were of quality and hair conditioner is a bonus. We appreciated the welcome cooled wine and glasses! .. and a chocolate each. We received complimentary waffles and crumpets for breakfast too. We used the bbq and the foil containers were a great idea-thank you! We enjoyed sitting in the small courtyard for drinks but rain curtailed our evening. The dishwasher is small but adequate depending on your meals. It’s quiet since it’s in your bedroom and may run whilst you sleep. The checkin details were clear; take note of the electric gate code when it’s sent. ( Thank you for meeting me face to face when I didn’t recall this message) We were given clear instructions about the property and how to leave it on checkout. It’s a peaceful haven with secure parking and an excellent location from which to explore. We would recommend staying!

The house had a large comfortable living, and dining area and a large versatile outdoor space. It contained all the necessities and more to ensure we had everything we needed, which gave it a comfortable feel, but at the same time was styled and designed to give a holiday vibe. The hosts were helpful and promptly responsive to questions we had. Although the house is a few minutes drive to Rye front beach, we liked that it was a quieter area and a pretty street.

    Our stay in Rye was wonderful. Home is beautiful & extremely comfortable. Great location to visit wineries, Mornington & Sorrento. Walking distance to the beach. This was our second time staying at Capel Sound, it was a fantastic short break away.

    We were in Rye just for one night so can’t say much about...

    We were in Rye just for one night so can’t say much about Rye but looking at the area, it looked very nice and clean. Very close to beach and other tourist attractions in the area. I noticed that there was caravan parks and camping spots along the beach.

    Rye is a great location to stay in- the Ops shops in Rye...

    Rye is a great location to stay in- the Ops shops in Rye were great and general shops. Beach clean. Draw card location to stay (travel via Ferry-Sorrento), Rosebud beach (nice), Peninsula hot springs (close), Strawberry Farm (excellent) and other Produce farms and wineries. Cheaper area to stay than Sorrento and Rosebud. On a negative point- roads were busy on hot days, weekend- busy local traffic and tourist traffic.

    The property is very close to the Peninsula Hot Springs, which is a big drawcard to the area. It is also close to great beaches, Point Nepean and Cape Schanck national parks, St Andrew's Beach brewery and the Arthur's Seat attractions. The town of Rye offers a good selection of shops and eateries. The Indian Villa is fast becoming a favourite.

    Rye is a great place ,

    Rye is a great place , just the accommodation was woeful !!!! The owner lives next door , kept on saying the neighbors are complaining about every little thing you do .Constant warnings about the council fining the owner and pass the fine onto you . Constant texts about what we can do and what we cant do , -all according to the ' neighbor's '

    The location is good. Central to shops and right on the Rye Pier. I would say the bedroom window lacks privacy and allows the light in from the building next door making it difficult to sleep. You have to close the blind during the day for privacy because of the large apartment block next door. The stairs are steep to the 1st floor. Cleanliness is O.K, not reflecting the cleaning staff but more the property could do with a freshen up. The fridge was noisy. I would stay here again but would ask for a different room.

    Location was fabulous for walking access to Rye front beach, shops and restaurants. A short drive to Sorrento. The toilet and shower block was central and close, and beautifully renovated in modern styling. Kids being able to scoot around on site, and the space to have pets and park your car near the front door was fabulous. The decorations and kitchen equipment was perfect for our short stay.

    The Blue Cottage was so comfortable and cosy and we had a lovely stay! It was beautifully designed and felt like a luxury stay. We really appreciated the personal touches like the complimentary breakfast and wine. It was in a great location a short drive to the hot springs and Rye but still felt secluded and private. We will definitely be coming again!
