    Well it's a interesting place nice coffee shops and other shops no traffic jams yet Minnamurra rain forest is worth a visit and the beaches a great clean water with walking paths a joining them worth a visit.

    Love the quietness of the town yet it has everything you...

    Love the quietness of the town yet it has everything you need in it. Love the cafes, that there is a supermarket and the few cute little boutique shops. It is very walkable too and right near the beach, so I felt like I got everything in this little town.

    Everything is in easy walking distance from Laurie & Barb's apartment. Shellharbour town is very pleasant. It has everything one would require for a getaway. The main shopping precinct has lots of varied eateries. The fish & chip shop does a roaring trade, but we bought Thai which was excellent! The local tavern appeared to have good clientele also and the cake shop had lovely selections and great coffee! All this right by the harbour. There is an IGA in the main street, and if you drive 5 mins to Shell Cove, there is a Woolworths.

    Shellharbour is part of a greater urban area, Shellharbour City. It provides plenty of differing accommodation options, has a great range of shops, restaurants and lovely beaches, is easy to travel around, and is no more than 40 minutes drive from a great area of the NSW South Coast from Lake Illawarra to the Shoalhaven region. This is a great place for a summer holiday for families of all ages.

    Great central location for a short stay or long weekend. Shops and restaurants of high quality next door. Apartment tis of the highest quality and standard. Do yourself a favour and book in a stay, you wont regret it.

    Excellent house, fully stocked with great facilities. House was clean and comfortable with lots of entertainment options, which were well looked after. Great for family holidays or multiple couples with or without kids. Lastly, the best part, the view was exceptional from multiple rooms and very close to Shellharbour main strip

    Simple room but very clean with all the facilities we needed. Right in the main strip of Shellharbour village so easy to walk to restaurants, the water front and park. Easy on site parking. Staff super friendly and helpful. Provided us with a portacot for no added cost.

    Room was good, but due to location had to have blinds drawn. Shared carport with large pub meant difficult to find a park. Hotel bar dining not suitable for children or women, staff and other patrons very rough. Certainly no "lake view", only suburbia.
