Streaky Bay is a lovely country town with all the amenities you need. People were friendly and great hotel. Several restaurants to choose from serving a variety of food. Varying day trips are available show that you can see the area. Will most definitely go back.

Streaky bay was charming, and the local sights were worth the trips. The town’s amenities were many and varied. Beautiful location not yet spoiled by rampant development. Plus local drivers were courteous on the roads. Seafood caravan on the main drag was awesome. Helpful staff and super fresh.

It was really quiet being the first week in August but the weather was beautiful and it's the right time of year to go for the oysters. It just meant we ate at the pub (which was great) two nights out of three. Drift was very nice for lunch but closed the kitchen at 1.45pm without giving us any notice so we only had starters! Gorgeous view and could have sat out of their balcony for another hour or so.

I enjoyed doing the two driving loops out of Streaky Bay (sorry, forgot names but not the views - amazing) as well as the Hay Stacks (Granite boulders). Great spots- The GRANITES, The Woolshed Cave; and many others; Great headlands, welcoming beaches, lovely stairs down to main sights. I also loved the Wave Rock lookalike about 70kms from town, sorry, forgotten the name.

Streaky Bay is a peaceful, clean, picturesque location.
Streaky Bay is a peaceful, clean, picturesque location. Has great tourist areas to visit. We loved our stay and would have been happy to stay longer if our time permitted. Easy to get around. We ate at Drift Cafe which is overlooking the bay & jetty. Food great and staff very friendly.

Beautiful motel complex. Very neat and tidy. Mark ( owner) was really friendly. Room was a good size with everything we needed. A couple of nice touches were some Christmas decorations, having Netflix and ice creams in the freezer. Walking distance to shops, service station, hotel, and fish shop across the road. The swimming pool and spa were fabulous my little granddaughter loved it. Also on offer were table tennis, 8 ball, trampoline, basketball hoop, and board games.

I liked that I was able to support someone local rather than a chained motel at approximately the same price. The rooms were decorated very nicely and I felt like I was at home. Facilities were very reasonable as was comfort and cleanliness and location to the central part of town to watch the sunset on the foreshore, visit the supermarket or hotel.
I called the host just before arrival to arrange picking up of the keys.

We got lucky, the apartment was available on our arrival into Streaky Bay, it had a everything we needed and absolutely centrally located with a partial view of the bay and jetty, just as advertised. Paul was available to offer anything extra, which turned out to be an extra night, no problem, easily provided. It was a great stay at Streaky Bay excellently assisted by our accommodation.

The location was good near the water. It was at the back of a hotel for the accommodation. The food at the bistro was awful. The steak burger was so greasy & terrible. I tried to get steak & veg but all sold out. Who has heard of a bistro rubbing out of steak at 7.30 pm. I think the hotel needs better chef or manager. I would not stay there again. A bit of an ordinary place

It was a great break from camping since leaving the East coast. Really appreciated an easy care environment to house us and our dog and thankful that you provided dog friendly accommodation. We loved our stay in Streaky Bay, the weather was sublime. I think we were very lucky :-)
