A great city to visit for holidays. many places to visit. I took a ferry ride to Manly on Sunday 5.10.25 on a nice sunny day and it was beautiful. Moving around the city is easy with many transport options. Busses, train, and light rail are the cheapest options for travel around the city. I visited only for 4 days and didn't have the time to visit Scenic Blue Mountains Skyrail, Whale watching and Bondi Beach. The day at Watson's Bay was wonderful.
The day at Watson's Bay was wonderful. Walking up to the lighthouse and seeing the old lighthouse keeper's cottage was a beautiful view of the ocean and harbour. Eating at Doyles for fish and chips was pretty special too. Walking through Martin's Place in the city and going up Centrepoint Tower gave us a great understanding of the big picture of Sydney and out to the suburbs. Walking around the Opera House and the Botanical Gardens was great. Darling Harbour has much to offer with The Maritime Museum and Madam Tussaud's wax museum being highlights. We visited Sydney to attend an engagement party at the Ivory Penthouse! What a magnificent venue with charming décor, delicious food, tasty beverages and very friendly staff. We enjoyed walking around soaking in the atmosphere of Sydney CBD, Darling Harbour and Bondi Beach.
