1. The Age of Dinosaurs Museum is a "Must See". You will not regret taking the tour, marvellously educational and a lot of fun. The staff are top notch. The shop is great, be prepared to purchase for your grand kids!
2. Steak dinners at Tattersall's Hotel - awesome porterhouse.
3. The Musical Fence - what a lot of fun!

I loved spending time in Winton it has a unique charm of a true outback town that is rare today. Everyone was lovely and friendly locals and the old hotels were impressive and also the shops in town of yesterday’s era. One of the main highlights for me was the outdoor theatre so special ❤️

It was very good. did the stampede and rifts and sunset dinner drinks. Visited the Gregory Hotel and stayed for the poetry in the afternoon Had our own car but booked experiences. the stampede experience was great, much better than driving ourselves.

There is a bit to see in the town. The locals are very friendly. We had a good time at the North Gregory Hotel which has a great beer garden if the weather is right. There is an outdoor cinema theatre worth visiting. We needed something special from the Pharmacy and the Pharmacist and staff were very helpful (next to the cinema).

Winton is a place full of knowledge, from the Australian age of dinosaurs which was our high light to seeing a Brolga up close. Also, opals and a fantastic meal at the tattersall hotel which was a short walking distance from our motel

We loved staying in an authentic small outback town which retained its original buildings and charm, while still providing for visitors. There was a choice of pubs for refreshments and meals, and plenty to look at and experience (without being too 'in your face'). We loved being in the middle of nowhere, comfortably and not in a motel chain room! Wi-fi wasn't easy to access for us - that was fine for me but may bother some people. Bring lots of drinking water as the town water in Winton is pretty stinky.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Olive Grove, the propertywas very clean with beautiful furnishings and felt so relaxing we could have stayed longer then the 2 nights. It is an easy 10 minute walk into the town with wide streets.Winton is a lovely little town and we had a most enjoyable stay, get up early and watch the sunrise from the front verandah you won't regret it
The venue was amazing. The room is massive and the lady who owns it is just the nicest lady. The dogs are just so cute too. Will def bring my family back if we ever stay in Winton

Nice hotel within easy walking to several pubs for meals. The brolgas feeding at the hotel in the morning is a surprise addition. Very friendly and helpful personal.
