We booked this a little last minute and weren't really sure what we were going to find. What a fantastic, special little place though! Were were so glad to stay here overnight for a little Daintree adventure.

In summary everything went well - it was a wonderful experience overall! Firstly the vibe of the place - this is not your standard cookie cutter resort in PD. This has a very unique style with massive murals, funky coloured furniture, and all the comforts. Uniquely, in the pool area there's the facilities of a standard kitchen providing guests the option to prepare their meals (Coles is just a short walk) and relax in a shaded dining area poolside. The pool area had a calming waterfall and it was great to hang out and experience peace and tranquility. As a solo traveller it was great to meet other guests of all nationalities and enjoy each other's company. Staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging my return transportation to Cairns at very short notice - Ruth you're a superstar! The ownership has transformed a standard '60's vintage Motel into a truly unique property - hats off to them!

Such an incredible location, a stones throw from the beach. We booked the 2 small bungalows for 3 people. Unfortunately the weather was terrible but we made the most of it. Jodie was super helpful and such a friendly woman. The bungalows were great, all the amenities you need and very clean. Beds also very comfy. Thank you Dean and Jodie - we will be back!
