It was just what I needed after staying in hostels the previous 2 nights. The access to the room was easy from the rear carpark, just up the stairs and my room was just as you came in which was handy. The room was clean and tidy, looked recently refurbished to me. There were lots of amenities which I appreciated. The shower was great, I liked that there was heating from the AC unit and an electric blanket! There were facilities for making tea, a microwave, fridge, iron, ironing board, hairdryer etc there was free WiFi also.

    Wynyard is located in a very picturesque part of Tasmania and provides a good place to stay to further explore the other areas of the north west coast. The town has all the facilities you need, with two supermarkets, two hotels, banks as well as several eateries, clothing shops and second hand stores to name just a few.

    Enjoyed the Thai restaurant very nice food ,enjoyed the breakfast in town also at the river side hotel, we went at the wrong time holiday week end all shops shut ,market on the sea front was very interesting bought a few items.

    I lived there in the 1980s so knew it well, the drive around Table Cape extinct volcano is always worth the effort...Although the wharf Fish 'n Chip shop opposite the Wynyard Pub does NOT grill their fish, only 2 options - crumbed or battered...!! so nothing's changed there since I lived there in the 1980s...!!

    We were having a Christmas get together with family so our circumstance were a lot different. Wynyard has magnificent scenery close by, great beach at Boat Harbour, friendly people, close to Burnie, not far to Stanley, great drive to Dip Falls. Behind Burnie there is another wonderful spot to visit called Fern Glade.

    Lovely little town. Friendly locals. Great coffee. I enjoyed the Ford display at the Visitor Information Centre and have been recommending it to everyone. We will go back their again next time we travel to Tasmania. We had a very good dinner at the Pub across the road. Wynyard is an easy town to get around.

    Wynyard is located on the Inglis River and is a quiet little spot with plenty to do. Wynyard provides a great base for all sorts of day trips to Table Cape; Boat Harbour; Sisters Beach; Stanley; Burnie; the west coast and inland to various waterfalls i.e. Dip & Guide. Lots of opportunity to walk along the beach, fossil bluff exploration, cycling, fishing and many other activities and great food outlet choices. Locals are very friendly and helpful. Supermarkets close by with all manner of other retail outlets to cover all your needs

    We stayed in the twin units at the rear of the fabulous house. The unit was very spacious and comfortable, with great views of the river from the well kept extensive gardens. The hostess was very friendly and informative. The town of Wynyard is very well presented and interesting. Breakfast was very well presented to our unit and was a great start to the day. Would definitely stay here again. Handy location to visit the tulip farm at table cape.

    What a gem of a place. The staff were amazing (from admin through to the cleaning crew), the location perfect (short walk to town/cafes/restaurants/laundromat/Woolworths), parking was easy, the room was clean and warm, the bed was comfortable, the water was hot (loved the twin shower heads) and the little extras here and there were brilliant. I’ll stay at the The Waterfront Wynyard again and would have no trouble in recommending it to others.

    The Coastal Pods Wynyard were the perfect balance of feeling at home, yet knowing you were on holiday. Very well appointed, self-contained units. With every convenience for the perfect home away from home holiday experience. The staff were amazing and super helpful. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future. Two thumbs up from me.
