What an incredible stay we had at Family Sakota Country House! From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by Svjetlana and Milivoje. Their warmth and genuine hospitality are unmatched. You can see and feel the love and care they have poured into this spacious home, from the tasteful interior to the beautifully maintained garden. The property is simply stunning: a large swimming pool, vast grounds all around the house, and complete privacy and peace. Yet, charming destinations like Mostar, Blagaj and Stolac are only a short drive away. It’s the perfect combination of serene relaxation and cultural day trips. Svjetlana and Milivoje also know all the best places to eat in the region and are happy to share their insider tips. They truly care about their guests and go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to extend our stay by three extra days. That’s how relaxed and at ease we felt here. They speak a little English, but with the help of Google Translate and ChatGPT they communicate wonderfully. Always with a smile, patience, and all the time in the world to make sure you are happy. You can feel their pride in their property, and rightfully so. For anyone who wants to experience the warmth of the people in this region, combined with a beautiful home, a huge garden and complete tranquillity, this is an absolute must. We leave with warm memories, deep gratitude, and the wish to come back again. Thank you, dear Svjetlana and Milivoje, for giving us such a top-class experience!

Everything was incredibly clean. Everything had a very nice and fresh scent. As soon as I entered the apartment, I immediately felt relaxed. The little stream in front of the apartment was very soothing, and I fell asleep right away to the gentle sound of the water. The owner was very kind, waiting for us even though we arrived late. This apartment was such good value, it's been recently renovated and has everything you could possibly need, very spacious, well located and the neighbourhood is very chill and quiet. Couldn't have asked for a better host, Arman goes the extra mile and is keen to make sure your stay is as perfect as possible. I'm a history buff so came exclusively for the Daorson site but Stolac had so much more to offer (waterfalls, hiking, fort, the famous medieval graveyard). The town has a few well stocked mini marts for supplies, as well as good restaurants, bars and cafes. I'd definitely recommend staying here!
