From the moment I arrived Christine made me feel so welcome. She had a list of things to do, where to eat and party. I just loved all the personal touches with flowers on the bed, wrapped in the towels and in a vase. Everything has old world charm and my room was upstairs with a view of the Caribbean Sea and a lovely breeze drifting through the louvre windows. The position of the hotel is perfect to walk to night clubs, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and the retail shopping strip. Yet is very quiet & comfortable. This hotel cares about the environment and it shows from very clear instructions with the linen to a water refill station at reception. All the staff are super friendly and everyone will go out of their way to make your stay so fabulous you will never want to leave! I wish to highly recommend the Hotel del Rio. 10 out of 10!

Great location, very safe for long strolls or very short walks to all the amenities you need to stock the wonderful full size kitchen, and so many restaurants in very short walking distance as well. We had a great stay at Mangata Villas! The hosts were great at communicating and even organised a golf cart for us to pick up off the ferry. The pool and beach were fab and it was great we could cook our own meals in the kitchenette a few nights too!

Cute spot away from the busyness and noise of San Pedro. Lovely rooms with AC. Bed was comfortable. You can see the ocean from the property and enjoy an ocean breeze. All the staff and owner were very helpful and friendly. Great coffee! Near lots of restaurants and the Truck Stop.

The Drift Inn is right behind the Sandbar which is right on the beach and the Palapas bar. The location is amazing. It's right in town yet the dorm room I stayed in was quiet. The dock to the south of the Palapas bar is a great place to watch the sunrise, swim from and even snorkel from. I saw eagle rays there several mornings and once even dolphins. The dorm beds each has their own light, an electrical outlet and have curtains around them which gives you excellent privacy. I was there 9 nights and most of the time the other guests were exceptionally considerate. Staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. They arrange tours every day, can arrange for golf carts, rent bikes and are a great source for local information. Coffee is ready every morning by 6:30-7 am. The kitchen is a great place to meet people and gather while eating the food you prepare yourself. There's a tiny pool at the drift in and the one at the Sandbar is a really nice place to sit and relax. You can walk to a lot of great places to eat, make your own or eat at the Sandbar. Their food is delicious and reasonably priced.
