What an absolute treat it was to stay at Hazelhouse. From the moment we arrived, Minke made us feel so very welcome. The house and gardens are simply stunning. Spotlessly clean in a quiet location by the river but very convenient to town. And the breakfast…absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend staying at this beautiful B&B.

This is a quiet little village on the south shore of Harrison Lake. Surrounded by majestic mountains, it conveys a sense of tranquility that is hard to come by in such a proximity to a large city. Great restaurants, vibrant art stores, ice cream shops make for a great experience. Lakeshore is great for a nice relaxing stroll. There are mineral hot springs - public pool (open air and indoors), and there are hot springs in the Resort as well. There are hiking trails in the area, and an abundance of water sports activities. Black Forest is a renowned German restaurant that is a must-visit.

Beautiful location, the views are amazing.

Beautiful location, the views are amazing. Lots of activities for every ages. Lots of restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and could hae stayed 3-4 days without getting bored. We rented a canoe and had a blast. We dine at the local German restaurant Black Forst it was delicious. The playground is amazing my kid had so much fun. I would love to come back in another season and explore more.

Harrison Hot Springs is a very nice resort town.

Harrison Hot Springs is a very nice resort town. There is a wonderful lake, a wonderful view of the mountains, there is a promenade with a restaurant, cafe, gift shops. There is also a fair of handicrafts. The city is clean, nice. I liked to relax there.

The scenery around Harrison Hot Springs was breathtaking.

The scenery around Harrison Hot Springs was breathtaking. The hotel was nice and once we were in a newer room, just about perfect. The staff was very considerate and took care of everything we needed in a timely manner. The pools were clean and stylish and it was easy to move around. There were good dining options in the town itself.

This was a nice quiet wee spot when we stayed one Thursday night in mid July. Lovely to be able to stay right on the lake front. Our hotel was 20m from the lake. Lovely selection of restaurants and coffee shops along the lake front. We ate at the Greek Restaurant on the roof terrace. Delicious. The lamb was so succulent. Would have like to have stayed longer to do some more walking and soak up the sunshine and lack of crowds!

The natural spring is blocked off now so only public pools are available - and the resort pools which are terrible. Awful inflatable play area has replaced it - drunken tourists yelling alongside screaming children … avoid this place!

The location was in front of the lake and in the center of the action. There were numerous restaurants close by and it was walking distance to the marina where water sports are located. Our room was relatively spacious and had a sitting area. It also had a small veranda where one can sit to enjoy a cup of coffee while enjoying the view of Harrison Lake. It has a parking area in the back of the hotel.

Staff were friendly but disorganized. We arrived at 4:30 pm and the hotel's check in time starts at 4:00. They told me the room wasn't cleaned yet but checked me in and said to wait 15 - 20 minutes before going to the room. Staff were always treating us with friendliness and were professional.
