Not much that can be said other than it's a good place to stop for groceries (a big Sobey's) and wine (NSLB) on the way to more scenic parts of Cape Breton. We can recommend lunch at the Fleur de Lys restaurant in that same shopping centre. We only stayed for the night.
We only stayed for the night. The owner gave us a couple places to choose from for supper and breakfast. Both were good places to eat. The room was unexpected in a very good way! Clean, bright, inviting. The bed was super comfortable and the bedding was cheery and comfy. It looked like each room/cabin(?) had its own hot water heater, so no worries there. We enjoyed dinner at Pappa's Pub and previously lunch at the Fleur de Lis. We have stayed in Port Hawkesbury on two occasions and have had horrible experiences with accommodations. Have I missed something? Are there any decent accommodations in the town?Guest review byElaineCanada
