United Stateseverything was great - the entire staff was friendly, even the owner asked us multiple times if we were satisfied, and everyone took time to chat with us as if we were old friends; the continental breakfast (included) was quite good; large room with fridge and coffee/tea facilities; extremely clean; rooms serviced daily; nice restaurant on site with tasty traditional Newfoundland fare; we got lucky and enjoyed free Saturday night entertainment during dinner; super quiet; at night; great place to stay if you plan on taking the Mistaken Point fossil hike and/or want to visit nearby Cape Race

Saint Shotts is a beautiful quiet community on the south...
Saint Shotts is a beautiful quiet community on the south shore of Newfoundland. The scenery is stunning and quite different inland from the rugged coast. The history of the area including details of the lighthouse keepers and nearby shipwrecks is very interesting.
