The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. A welcome food hamper was waiting for us in our room. A clean room with a very comfortable bed. We had a fridge, and a coffee machine as standard, but there was also a free coffee machine (with a variety of different coffees) available to use at any time near reception.

I was absolutely satisfied with my stay at Bayview! Everything was perfect, from the check-in reception, the cleanliness of the rooms, excellent wi-fi, the swimming pools, Easy access to parking lot and the comfort for those traveling with one-year-old babies. We had an absolutely wonderful time at Emily’s house! The house is not only beautiful and very cozy, but also perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need – and spotlessly clean. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace and simply taking in the peaceful atmosphere. What truly makes Velvet Fern Guesthouse special is the thoughtful and loving attention to detail: everything was personally and carefully prepared for our arrival, including a lovely breakfast and bikes we could use – such a kind touch!
