So much to see and do.

So much to see and do. Victoria offers a plethora of options and a beautiful backdrop for all. As a group of women we spent time rummaging through an antique and thrift store, visited a trendy market and experienced a “Scottish high tea”. Something for everyone! Always the downside to any large city is the traffic but with some patience and a good navigator traversing the city is very doable…and there are many tour buses that offer the best option.

The harbour area was great, the architecture was beautiful to look at and the parks are gorgeous. We did a whale watching tour and saw many different whales and other wildlife- it was superb. Also it’s a very walkable city, we didn’t use our vehicle as we like to experience and see more on foot.

    I love Victoria .

I love Victoria . It's a beautiful , sophisticated city with a small town feel in that it is relaxing and fun to just wander around the downtown area . I particularly like the Inner Harbour. Also recommend Butchart Gardens and the Japanese Garden along the Waterway, where you'll see beautiful views as well as weddings parties being photographed.

I love Victoria. The old houses, the luxury apartments.

I love Victoria. The old houses, the luxury apartments. The character of the downtown! I just love it. Traffic can get pretty bad and parking can be a challenge so I wouldn't visit in July or August if I could help it. But that ocean is always there, calling. Go.

What a charming and quaint city!

What a charming and quaint city! The flowers around the city are just magnificent. I took the Hop On and Off Tour and the narration and tour around the city was informative and so interesting. The city is very inviting and beautiful. It is extremely well kept and clean. I loved visiting the different places in the city and the Butchart Gardens was magnificent. We ate at the Empress for lunch and it was delicious as well as the service was excellent. I hope to come again to Victoria, it was delightful!

Victoria is a beautiful city with the most pleasant weather and people. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed our whale watch experience and especially the Butchart Gardens. We also enjoyed the many restaurants and found Uber to be a great way to get around.

Excellent location next to the Parliament building and about a 5-10 minute walk from downtown Victoria but still a quiet area. Rooms were spacious (we stayed in a two queen room on the 4th floor), parking readily available ($20/night) and staff were helpful. The included breakfast was an added bonus.

It's a nice clean pleasant hotel a short drive from downtown and with free parking. Rooms are pleasant with all the amenities you need. It's not luxurious but it provides comfortable beds and a good place to hang your hat while visiting Victoria, all at a reasonable price.

Very friendly service! Building is older but rooms are completely renovated and super clean. Location is close to downtown Victoria. Although there's no vending machine, you could find bottled water and pop etc in the liquor store attached to the hotel.

The hostess stocked the fridge with milk and other great items. There were breakfast items in the cupboard. Parking was safe and convenient. There was easy access by car to downtown Victoria. Nearby fruit market and wine store were appreciated.
