We stayed for one night at the hostel, there are hotels available but the hostel was enough practical and sufficient for us, family of 4 for one night. I wish we could stay longer as we loved it, everything exceeded our expectations and more. The views are stunning, the whole area is well organised with plenty to do. Would recommend to all our friends.T Here is a visitor pass available which covers a gondola, ski lifts and trains, a great value for your money. Lovely, historic town with a range of facilities
Lovely, historic town with a range of facilities The area was new to us but offered an unusual range of alpine experiences: Up the cablecars of the region for high mountain landscapes (The Guest Card issued by the apartment owner on behalf of the town was great value, giving free unlimited rides on the cable cars); Walks from nearby villages through lovely green meadows (And the occasional walkers suspension bridge); Trips into side valleys for wilder country and real mountain peace; Just over the Lucomagno Pass into Ticino for some of the loveliest of alpine meadows; and down river to the grandeur of the Rhein-Schlucht (Gorge)Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom

It is basic but the room was very comfortable and clean, we had a great view, the food is fairly basic but good quality . Dominic the young lady who’s name we did not get were very friendly and helpful, Dominic lent me a few usb plugs so I could charge my five devices in time for the next day, as we were on motorcycles we had headphones, phones and a charging block. The hotel is located in a quiet part of Disentis, full in the nature. The real discovery was however, the restaurant! Fully local ingredients, combined in an original way by the master cook, Sven. It is a place to feel home, especially thank to the open-hearted welcome by the host, Sonia. In my opinion this is the best overnight solution for families in Disentis. Cheap and convenient (room for 4 people, plus crib, available for free), extra clean, simple but well structured. LOT of water with great temperature and high pressure. Abundance of towels. Comfortable beds. VERY clean. Everything looks like brand new. Parking available in close proximity.
