The place is all what you would expect from the Swiss Alpine Chalet. 🙂 Great restaurant. We had a very nice dinner there. Food was delicious. Staff was very helpful and customer oriented. Location adjacent to train station was very convenient. The room was very quiet, we did not hear any noise from other guests or outside. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good. Staff were very helful and allowed us to checkin early as our room was ready on arrival.

Hotel staff was very helpfull and attentive. Breakfast was very tasty, many delicious meals to choose, among them - warm dish of scrambled eggs and soo tasty, that I was eating it every morning!. There was possibility to order coffe without caffeine at a bar, also at the breakfast you could find famous Gruyere cheese. Around 10 min to walk to the train station, where many trains/buses brings to various sightseeing directions.

Spacious and very clean room, very friendly staff, the hot pools were awesome, very tasty breakfast and dinner, the kids loved the VIP cards for free chocolate . Good location, not far from Gruyere old town, the chocolate factory in Broc and some beautiful nature spots. The music playing on Sunday was very nice. We would love to stay there again!

We stayed two nights end of November and booked a spacious quadruple room on the 3rd floor, which had a mountain view and side view on the castle. Everything was perfect: 1) Very close to the center of the village (there are only a few hotels in such proximity to Gruyeres and Hotel de Gruyeres is the most affordable); 2) hotel is located on the hill, so you do not have to go up from public parking P1, P2 or P3; 3) private parking with 9 places and a couple of places for motorbikes (free of charge); 4) if private parking is full, the car can be parked on P1, P2 or P3 for 10 CHF per day or free of charge between 18:00 and 8:00; 5) room is equipped with a fridge, kettle, safe; 6) fabulous fresh breakfast with a lot of choices; 7) very friendly ladies on reception; 8) wellness center with sauna and hammam (can be booked and ready for use in one hour of heating) and small gym (well equipped); 9) restaurant with a terrace outside with an amazing view; 10) 5 min to the cheese factory and 15 min to chocolate factory by car.
