Booked room with a mountain view.
Booked room with a mountain view. However, on reaching the property, upgraded to Lake view at a cost of CHF 20 per day. Room had amazing view of Lake and hills. Property is located in Weggis and is easily accessible from Boat and bus ( Frequency of 30mins to 60mins). Town is very peaceful and one can enjoy beautiful walk around the lake. Property has fitness centre, spa and swimming pool which are maintained properly. Had an amazing experience staying at this property.Guest review byDiveshIndia - 10.0
The views of the mountains around the lake are fantastic.
The views of the mountains around the lake are fantastic. We ate in our hotel on both nights of our stay and the food and wine were fabulous. You can walk alongside the lake and there are several places to eat. We visited Mount Rigi which was busy but the 360 view at the top was wonderful. The staff were friendly, but did not speak German. They were not dressed appropriately and looked neglected (wrinkled shirts, unshaven). The bed linens were wrinkled and didn´t look clean! There is hardly any lighting in the rooms so we had to use our phones as torches! The locks on the doors were partly broken. The toilets in the dining area were disgusting!
