A lovely surprise indeed. The castle and the restaurant was a pleasant surprise but we couldn't enjoy as we were staying for the night. We will hopefully have the chance to stay overnight and enjoy the restaurant and the wine testing.

We stayed here for a recovery day after a long hiking trip. The rooms are big, the beds comfortable and the breakfast is great. The late checkout time is a real help if you need a bit of extra sleep, and the staff were really helpful as well.

Staff was good, breakfast was excellent. It was a very nice gym as well. I could not find a toothpaste around, that we normally get in good hotels, so that is something could add more to it. Otherwise, its overall excellent.

It was very well located right around the main train station. The room and the facility were super clean all the time and staff were amazing. the location !!!! it’s a 3-minute walk from the train station with various shops surrounding it. super practical. the receptionists are super friendly and helpful. the cleanliness was also satisfactory. will definitely consider this hotel if i ever have an overnight stay in Winterthur.

    It's a charming place on its own， with lots of good...

    It's a charming place on its own， with lots of good restaurants and small town charms. We had the best borscht at this restaurant Schafli, and a great time visiting Sammlung Oskar Reinhart Gallery where there were many Cezanne, Renoir, Van Gogh and other masterpieces to appreciate.

    Great air-conditioned hotel, easily reached from the station. Winterthur itself is upbeat and diverse, with few of the downers of a typical city. Shopping for essentials in the town centre was a pleasure, with shop staff friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
