Location is perfect in the heart of the old city of Zurich. The room size is very good. We love the interior design and the colours. the bathroom is very nice and well designed. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

breakfast was awesome. the meal to get you through the whole day. stuff was so nice and helpful, room was ready before the check-in time (so I could check-in earlier). interior is amazing, I was mesmerized by everything. staff helped me with everything that I asked, and were so polite. Let's start with the house - it is so beautiful. Ample spaces to sit and relax, either in the sitting room, or lawns. The dining space is light, airy and bright, overlooking the lawn, and it's just the right atmosphere! The house is in perfect condition, and the rooms are nice, clean and airy. They aren't huge, but by European standards, they're just fine. Next, the service. I can't thank the Signau House team enough! We were traveling with very elderly parents who caught a chill and were confined to their beds for the duration of our stay. The staff went over and beyond to make us comfortable! Whether is was extending breakfast timings, checking in on them while my husband and I were out, opening up their kitchen to us for dinner - we really felt like we were living in our own home. Finally, the location - the house is very well located, on a quiet street, and well connected via tram. It's walking distance from the lake, and a few stops away from the Old City and other touristy places.

Take a Fresh Look at Zurich

As the financial capital of Switzerland and headquarters of several large companies including FIFA, there’s a good chance that if you’re in Zurich you’re here on business. But that doesn’t mean this city doesn’t have a playful side.

    We spend quite a bit of time in Switzerland every summer and Fall but concentrate most of our time on the mountains, not the cities. However, every time I’m in the cities I am reminded that I also enjoy them, too. The Old Towns, that is. They are quaint and lovely for restaurants and strolling thru historic neighborhoods and tours if you like that kind of thing.

    I enjoyed the safety of the city, especially at night, very much as well as the walkability and cleanliness. I was impressed by the public transportation system with a well run customer service at the main train station for all international travelers. Don't miss the most delicious pastries at Confiserie Bachmann, Bahnhofstrasse!

    I booked a single room, and in many hotels these can be very small. However, the room was spacious and also clean and comfortable. There is a lift, and a hairdryer can be requested from reception. The staff were friendly and the check-in/out process was quick and easy. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Zurich Wiedikon station, and there are trains which go directly to that station from the airport. The location is quiet, but there are plenty of amenities (restaurants, a supermarket, etc) nearby. I would stay there again.

    Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a decent size, plenty of storage space and beds were comfortable. Room had a safe which was very useful. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Best scrambled eggs ever! Location was brilliant. Close to main Zurich railway station, coach park, local trams and only 10 minutes walk to the old town. Also close to one or two restaurants and supermarkets. It was very hot during our stay but, because the hotel is on a quiet street, there were no issues leaving the window open at night.

    Hotel Landhus came out to be a Great Suprise for us on our 1st day in Zurich. Maria was a Great Help !!. Hotel has good rooms with balcony and wifi . Breakfast is good for both veg & Non Veg . She made a Great Effort when we Requested for a Vegetarian Breakfast . Bus stand & Tram pickup point is just 1 min away from Hotel. From Airport 768 bus drops you right next to Hotel. Nearby Restaurants like City Point are open till 1 am. We Really Liked this place .

    This hotel is in such a great location, especially if you are travelling to/from the railway station, which is literally just across the bridge. This was a perfect place for us to stay one night at the beginning of our tour of Switzerland. The view from the room window over the city (and mountains far away) was great. It is incredibly easy to walk from the hotel to all the main places in Zurich, the old town etc. Breakfast was really lovely.
