    We came to Rancagua for the major hospital for the area.

    We came to Rancagua for the major hospital for the area. We were visiting a very sick relative. So we weren't visiting the city itself. As a regional city it has all the usual things. Liked the wide footpaths and bicycle lanes. Because it is a regional city, it is good to have at least some Spanish as not many people speak any English.

    This is a comfortable homestay in a safe, pleasant suburb of Rancagua. The host is communicative in advance, available on arrival, and provided useful local advice. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, and breakfast good.
