Absolutely incredible views from the front garden (and front facing rooms). Beautiful view of the river and the staff were so attentive when I was out there in the day (putting the fan and parasol on) or in the evening if there was a bit of rain (putting the umbrella up). The food was the best I have had in China so far- and they did brilliant vegetarian food. I am learning Chinese and the staff at the hotel helped me to practise. Very close by (10 mins walk) from one of the rafting locations. The room was nice and comfortable- great AC.

What a fantastic hotel! Set along the Ten Mile Gallery and by the Yulong River, the natural beauty around it is simply stunning. The room was well-kept and comfy, with a view that felt like a private show of mountains and water. The staff were so kind and went out of their way to help us explore the area. THAT MAY Hotel is located in easy walking distance [10 min] from 'Standing Coffee Viewpoint' - one of the most scenic location along the Li River. A misleading name as it is a karst hill with an outstanding view from the easy to reach first view point. Reaching the top is not necessary at all, and rather cumbersome - albeit there is a stairway. Try only if fit and with acceptable shoes. Both viewpoints are unforgettable! Yes, one must buy a drink to get access - about CYN 30+. Cash or Alipay. There is also the Dixin Tansuo Cave within 1+ km from THAT MAY Hotel. Jack might drive you there. I asked for a bike ride from one of the kind Standing Viewpoint staff and tipped him well. They were not very busy on that day. Avoid this cave if you are overweight, very tall, or not 100% mobile. I suffered! I would not visit it again. The first chamber of the cave is well lit and 'enough' - easy to reach. Then turn back to the entrance!! Entrance fee: CYN 42. Cash or Alipay, etc. On my first evening I had ordered a locally fished 'Beer Fish' as per Jack's suggestion; prepared by his cook. Excellent. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, I stayed two days only as I already had made preparation for my onward journey to Kunming by highspeed train. These tickets must be booked well in advance as trains are almost always fully booked. 3 nights, or even many more nights simply to relax would have been more charming. The i-net is medium fast due to the rural area, I presume. After 22:00+ or in early morning one can easily send or download heavy data too. Up the gentle hill, just beyond the above mentioned Cave, there is a pleasant local restaurant serving affordable and very tasty food and they offer a great view too. If driven there, a walk back is easy and safe due to limited traffic, i.e., during daylight. There are 2 mall shops just 100+ m away from Jack's hotel. No ATM in sight, Bring Alipay or cash.

Lanshan Moon Hotel is an absolute hidden gem in YangShuo. Their rooms are clean, tasteful, affordable & modern with the most picturesque view of the fields and mountains. The most impressive of our stay is the hostel owner and staff’s hospitality—- they are extremely attentive , offering full concierge service— from booking any tickets to nearby attractions and shows, to driving and guiding you around town, and would even turn on the heater or AC of your room ahead of your return. This 5 star treatment, along with the affordable yet beautiful room made our stay extremely enjoyable, I would most definitely recommend to all my friends and family visiting Yangshuo. The staff - Like Mark Ma - were attentive and so professional and went out of their way to provide tips on where and what to do in both. The location was perfect and close to all the main tourist sites. The room was amazing and had a perfect view of some of the mountains.

Is one of the most romantic beautiful hotel the atmosphere is great the staffs are soo welcoming and friendly I really like our stay here and the traditional Chinese massage is top notch very interesting everyone should try it !!

Our stay was perfect. Every time we returned from our tours or shopping, it felt like we were back in paradise. The staff were welcoming and professional; the rooms were clean, and the breakfast served was delectable. We also enjoyed feeding the ducks, peacocks and fishes. The bamboo rafting experience was a bonus.

Very nice family stay in quite and very pleasant atmosphere. Rooms are clean and tidy, food very delicious and there is a swimming pool for relaxing afternoon. Hotel staff are very polite and ready for any help, surarounding is beatiful specially sunset place that is 10min by walk, in the same time you can enjoy with cup of coffee or tea. Beside riding bike or e-bike hotel can provide cooking classes that we enjoyed a lot. Highly recommended for family traveling.

Everything was fine. Clean wide room, with river view, far from noisy yangshuo town centre, but since they provide electric scooter rental, it was easy to get around and explore the unique landscape. Friendly and helpful staff, will help you to define your itinerary and book transportation for you. Recommended.

The location and service is great. Located across Moon Hill which is walking distance and also very close to scooters hire location. Good restaurant located next to hotel
