The atmosphere was picturesque. The staff was very friendly and helpful. you are able to wash and dry your clothes. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The food in their restaurant was delicious. Highly recommended

The setting is perfect, overlooking the river and nestled below karst mountains. Walking and riding bikes along the river straight from the hotel parking lot was a bonus. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It felt so homey and comfortable - we loved it. We appreciated the ecological mindset and practices. The fire in the lounge was a blessing after a night out at Impressions LiuSanJie!

I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough! From the moment I booked, the host’s warm and attentive service made me feel right at home. Communication was seamless in English, and they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The room was immaculately clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed—like a home away from home. The property itself is charming, with a lovely swimming pool (perfect for relaxing) and even two adorable ponies on-site! It was such a unique touch that added to the overall magic of the experience. Location-wise, it’s ideally situated near major attractions, and public transport options are just steps away. Plus, the price was incredibly reasonable for all that’s included. Beautiful surroundings and breathtaking views from the window. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Everyone who works at the hotel was really kind and welcoming. It was great to be able to purchase food and drinks at the hotel as well. Breakfast was included but you have to pay extra for coffee. The lady working in the kitchen was super sweet and even gave me snacks for my long train journey! Perfect example of Chinese hospitality.

The owner of the hotel, Mark is a unique person! It creates a very kind atmosphere in the hotel. In two days, it was as if we had become one big family. Mark spent a lot of time with us. We traveled a lot to beautiful places that not everyone knows and that not all tourists visit. Mark has become my brother over the past few days. These were the most exciting and eventful days of our entire trip to China. I didn't expect such care. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay in Zen Garden. Location is amazing, the staff is really very helpful and nice. The accommodation of the hotel matches great its conception. Midday tea was delicious with good amount of fruits and cookies. The only thing that disappointed us a little was permanent day-off of your chef. Our vacations were really good and we enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for your level of service.

The hotel is much nicer than on the photos. The pool is just perfect, plus you have billiard table and table tennis. You can also rent scooter or get bikes. The breakfast is super, plus the restaurant is open all day with amazing food. William, the owner speaks English and he helps you with anything you need. He even took us to the railway station an hour away. Thanks William for your warm hispotality!

A great spot withe the view of the River Li and the sunset behind the mountains. Family-run hotel with bamboo-style rooms; really confortable beds (high quality matress and pillows). All the activities they proposed was amasing (bamboo rafting, tai chi, scooter tour, cooking class and show)!
