It was very good location for stay near the Great Wall (1,5 km). The owner are very freandly. They met us at 22.00 and prepared the very good dinner and breakfast. It was included in price. Extremely friendly and helpful host who helped us with tickets for the Great Wall and finding a local restaurant. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view from the terrace. We absolutely loved our stay and our first experience in China. Would highly recommend!

While the price was a little high compared to other places of this standard, you cannot beat it for its location and the serenity of the environment that it is situated within. The staff are great and do their best to make sure that you have what you need and when you need it. The views from the room, if it isn't foggy, are simply stunning and time seems to stand still when you are staying there. Stan kindly provided us with transport to and from the Great Wall and this helped to set up a wonderful day for us.

We love the way the old building has been converted, retaining its historical charm while providing a comfortable and clean accommodation. Marina is an excellent hotel manager. We appreciated her taking time showing us around including the gardens and historical features. A Jie is really friendly and helpful too! We are lucky to have the living room to ourselves for the night we stayed. It was really homely with great AV equipment. The organic vegetables provided are all from the garden. Food is delicious and healthy.

The place was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect to spend the night near to the great wall. The owners were very kind all the time and very flexible, although they do not t speak english they use translator and are very comunicative at all times. We asked for the transfer from the airport to the accommodation and from there to Beijing city centre. They help us to get to the great wall. They also have a restaurant in the building were you can have breakfast/lunch or dinner, we enjoy the food a lot. Wish them all the best.
