It happened so that me and my friend stayed at this hotel 4 times during our more than month journey to Cuba 🇨🇺, Colombia 🇨🇴, Ecuador 🇪🇨 , Peru 🇵🇪 and Brazil 🇧🇷. We chose Bogota as a hub for our traveling to Quito, Amazonia and Santa-Marta on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Advantages of this hotel. - Located very close to Eldorado airport (just 20 minutes ride by a taxi for COP 20,000-35,000 depending on the time, city traffic and weather conditions). - The neighborhood (Palermo district of Bogota) is safe, there are many different cafes, shops and pharmacies around). The hotel is separated from the street by a fence and guarded 24 hours a day. - Close to Bogota famous landmarks and city museums (the Gold Museum, the Emerald Museum, Fernando Botero Museum, the Military Museum, the Museum of Colonial Art, the Bogota City Museum, the Emerald Trade Center, the Montserrat Mountain Cable Car 🚠). - The rooms were tidy and cleaned every day. - A safe and a fridge are inside each room. - Comfortable bed. - Sufficient pressure in shower in the bath room. - The staff is very polite and attentive. They helped us with keeping some of our luggage 🛅 in the storage room dining our travels to other destinations. Nothing disappeared during our absense. Also when checking out from hotel the last time the employees permitted us to be in the rooms some minutes more to enable us to collect the luggage. - When you have such a wish it is possible to order breakfast which is standard for almost all Latin American countries: a choice out of different varieties of cooked eggs, a tropical fruit salad, oat meals and cereals, bread with butter and jam, coffee and juice.

The service is impeccable, the food is incredible, the room was very clean and spacious and the bed was terribly comfortable. All in all very happy with this stay. No problems with noise or any of the usual issues one can experience in hotels. It had been quite a while since I saw such a good breakfast too ; many choices of high quality food. The kitchen staff is amazing. I browsed through older reviews and it seems like the hotel took criticisms seriously as I typically couldn't relate to them.

    We were a group of four and booked a local tour company for private tours over five separate days. I highly recommend it, because we would otherwise not have known which neighbourhoods to explore, and we would have missed out on learning about Bogota’s interesting history. We stayed in the Parque 93 area and ate at several local Colombian restaurants there, also enjoying great Italian, Japanese, and Mexican food nearby. Getting around Bogota is easy and safe with Uber, but plan extra time for traffic, because there is always traffic! The people were so friendly.

    Bogota, like other places in Colombia, is steeped in cautious optimism for the future. Everywhere we saw people, representing Colombia's mix of cultures, interacting with us and each other with friendliness and creative energy. We recommend the Graffiti tour, Monserrate, and museums - Oro, Nacional & Botero. Walking around Candelaria and nearby neighborhoods is magical. Bogota is also the jumping off place for the Amazon, the Caribbean coast and Medellin - all of which we enjoyed.

    I love Bogota, the weather and the people are wonderful. it is like a combination of the good of a developed and the good of a developing country all in one. Of course there is some things that need improving, but it is a very nice combination of features.

    Traffic is horrible and there is only bus service (no metro like Medellin and other more comparable cities). Give yourself ample time for transport if you're visiting the city. A 12km ride at 0700 from the airport to another part of the city took almost 2 hrs. The drive back at 1000 took 75 minutes. Good food. Helpful people. Wonderful museums. I prefer Medellín over Bogota for it's green spaces and ease of getting anywhere on the Metro.

    Bogota is great, vibrant and exciting with friendly inhabitants. Where Toscana lodge is situated is perfect for long stays, like mine. It is reasonably close to el Centro and I walk to town every 2nd day, yet it is in the middle of Chapinero within walking distance to four Supermarkets. I would stay here again without a doubt.

    We were is Bogota for three days, and that seemed to be the right length of stay for our family. We liked the Candelaria District for its colonial architecture, restaurants, street vendors, and murals. We highly recommend the Botero Museum (free admission six days a week, though closed on Tuesdays), as well as Parque Simon Bolivar. We used Uber and taxis to get from place to place around town. The altitude and temperature of Bogota suited us well- a very welcome break from summertime temperatures of 100 F (34 C) back home.

    The hotel is in a perfect location in Salitre bogota, near parks, malls, airport, restaurants and commute options are available. Food is very affordable, It taste good but it could have more variety. Rooms are great! Good space, bathrooms spacious. I got selecte the one with a little kitchen. Prices are good. If you want to travel and have a tour of the cities hotel give some options, personal recomendation, ask for Fernando in the counter. Hope you enjoy your stay!

    We were so impressed by the Windsor House Hotel that we stayed there again at the end of our vacation in Colombia. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are very friendly and professional, the large breakfast each morning was a treat and the location (only 10 minutes' walk from Parque 93) could not have been better. Far and away, the best hotel that we stayed in when we were in Colombia. Plus, the price for a hotel of this quality and standard was exceptional.

    We stayed at the airport hotel in Bogota for a night before our flight, and it served its purpose perfectly. It's just a 5-minute drive from the airport. The staff was incredibly friendly, even preparing breakfast for us in the early morning and arranging a taxi.The room had all the essentials, but not much more. However, it was clean and comfortable.
