Beautiful place created with love and imagination. Wonderful family enterprise. Kindness and consideration Great food from Raffi catered to our diets tho don’t know how usual that will be. Hacienda Norma has recently opened and it’s a joy to have been among the first guests. They supported my friend to get over her fear of riding and riding into the mountains and learning about nature was lovely. The horses are well loved and trained by Wilbur. There are over 300 acres of conservation with a couple of puma families it’s believed. Guarvil, family and co workers are creating something beautiful and unique. We welcomed the green and shade in the hot days, the terrace and the infinity pool.

This place as absolutely amazing if you like comfort and peace We were 4 kilometers from tamiando and had a beautiful room with outside hammocks and an infinity pool Breakfast was great homemade crepes and yogurt with fresh fruit coffee and juice Amazing host and great place definitely 125 percent recommend staying here

Very nice and quiet little place - beautiful rooms and pool. Lovely owners, who were there the whole time taking care of the place and of us. We came without a car, and they gave us lifts to the beach, the supermarket and even to the new hotel, when we after some very relaxing days moved on. Amazing.

Soul Shine is the best accommodation choice in the Playa Avellanas area. The cabinas are spacious and clean with comfortable beds, good WiFi, air conditioning and a mini-fridge. The pool is a gorgeous place to relax and the grounds are laden with lush tropical flowers and vegetation. The location is amazing - Avellanas beach is a short walk away, and so are many great restaurants, including Barumis (burgers), Lola’s, La Parruja, and La Esquina, a community space with tacos, sushi, cocktails and other tasty food (visit the public market there on Friday nights for local vendors and live music). You can also walk next door and get some gelato! Owners Yael and Roee are the ultimate hosts and will ensure your stay is as perfect as possible. You really are part of the family when you’re here. And a Soul Shine review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning their delicious brunch! This place serves up some of the best food you’ll find in the area – even in all of Costa Rica. Authentic menu items such as shakshuka, Gypsy King, falafels and avocado toast are all served hot and fresh with crispy salad and yummy tapas on the side. The fresh bread is served warm and melts in your mouth!
