If you enjoy birds and nature you will love these cabanas. Situated in a garden planted with birds in mind, there are so many hummingbirds and many other species, even a toucan! Jose is a great guide, and took us down to the river to look for a sun bittern. We ate local breakfasts - eggs, rice, beans and plantain, which were delicious. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

The hosts were wonderful! It felt like staying at your cool Uncle & Aunt's :D They completely organized our rafting trip (Rio Pacuare), cooked dinner, prepared breakfast and were overall super welcoming and helpful. The bungalows were comfortable, private and with great views of Turrialba volcano. They are set in a sizeable plot and there are paths within it to explore the forest. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfasts were delightful with a great selection of fresh fruit, nuts, granola, toast and eggs served in a beautiful dining cabin.
