Highly recommend this hostel. Spacious dormitory. Got lucky enough to have the 6-bed room for myself for 2 nights. Sparkling clean shared bedroom and shared bathroom. Nice staff.

The host and family were so kind and helpful. They make us feel very welcome, the breakfast was so good, the accommodation is so unique, tranquil and full of interesting things to see. They have lovely friendly dogs. We really enjoyed the time there and felt right at home.

The enclosed garden was lovely and great for families with kids. Staff was very helpful and friendly. That was the highlight. As a single-level boutique hotel, we could put the kids to bed and stay in the common area with our room (and nearly all rooms) in sight. This is a big plus for parents with little kids. At the same time, the door blocked noise well and the hotel was quiet.

Felt great, coming back to our favorite San Jose hotel, the room was even nicer than the one we had last time, and the super friendly staff remembered us, when we showed up. We can only recommend that place, whether you are passing through or staying some time in San Jose, as it is in a nice and interesting area close to University of Costa Rica.

The location was amazing! There are such nice restaurants on walking distance. Felt really safe and the area was just generally beautiful. Great vibes! Also, the breakfast was delicious and the staff really made a big difference. They were so friendly and helpful: helped us with finding ATM’s, restaurants, busstops and more! Would definitely recommend :))
