A place to go with small kids and family, if you want good weather in October-November, and you can even swim! The food is though very bad, everywhere. Even is restaurants! Peolpe are a mixture of balcan and Asian people coming to work there and stayed. The beaches are crowded and loud. Cheap ninght-life and shops, as not high-standard :( Nissi Beach and FIG Tree bay are worth to visit if you want nice beaches. The Blue Lagoon ois worth also a visit by boat and by walking distance also as it gives you different perspectives. Very friendly, but professional helpful staff. General cleanliness was v.good. Our room was absolutely wonderful for our requirements. The location of the hotel, was fantastic. Makronissos is in our opinion the best beach in Cyprus! Not so good perhaps - the variety of food availability, with the exception of breakfast. Strangely, unfriendlier than London, which a lot of Londoners will understand where I am coming from (big city syndrome). Tourists seemed generally miserable, disrespectful, and also strangely for some to hear, most were not English, despite the sometimes bad reputation we can have abroad. Aside from the fantastic weather and clear Mediterranean Sea, I wouldn’t recommend it. A shame as 30 years ago, it was beautiful, with locals and delicious food, now it’s overtaken and ruined by tourism. We cleaned part of the beach one day, as there was rather a lot of rubbish being left by people. Horrible to see, so if you do decide to travel to Ayia Napa, please take care of your surroundings and treat it like you’d like to be!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
First, think about what kind of vacation you want.
First, think about what kind of vacation you want. If nightlife and clubs are important to you, it’s best to stay near the center. If you’re looking for a more relaxing holiday and nightlife is not a priority, I recommend finding accommodation close to one of the beaches, preferably Makronisos or Landa (this year Nissi Beach was a disappointment). It’s quieter there, yet you still have restaurants and markets nearby, and you can easily reach the center by bus (around 10 minutes). Be sure to download the Cyprus Bus app to check timetables and routes, it makes planning your trips much easier. Also, don’t rely only on buses 101 and 102; many other lines run along Nissi Avenue and can take you from beach to beach. For those who don’t go to the beach early (before 11–12), it’s a good idea to buy your own umbrella on the first day (around €30 for a good one). After 11–12 it’s hard to find a free sunbed, and it’s a shame to go all the way to the beach only to have to leave or go somewhere else. Take advantage of the fact that the front rows on the beach are reserved for people with their own umbrellas and sunbeds.Guest review byNikolaSerbia - 10.0

Lovely clean place plenty to do for everyone,there for my daughters wedding and it was truly amazing,from the hotel staff to a fabulous wedding planner.Nothing was too much trouble.stamna Taverna was exceptional for pre wedding dinner that good we went back multiple times and lovely staff.Lovely friendly people in every bar we visited especially Anonoymous bar and Craig's bar.A must visit the Irish bar too great singers.The only downside Taxis are a little expensive.Guest review bycoleenUnited Kingdom
