We went for the annual Moonwalk, amazing as usual. Restaurants and bars excellent and varied, every taste catered for. Found the bars a bit noisy on the weekend as they compete with each other. Protaras is a lively resort with plenty of hospitality venues along "the strip" and a wonderful 6kms boardwalk which was the reason for my visit for the BOARDWALK MUSIC FESTIVAL and full lunar eclipse of the moon. It has a great vibe for all ages and is very clean unlike Limassol where I live. There are plenty of activities and places to visit away from the sunbeds. Protaras is a very plesant place. The boardwalk along the beach has many bars and places to eat. All very family and child friendy. Menus are similar, with seafood being delicious and well priced. 2 sunbeds and an umbrella are under ten euros a day. The beaches are clean and the ocean is clear and warm. Many boat trips to choose from. Not many other excursions. Prob best to hire a car to see a bit more yourself. Its on the main street of Protaras so you have everything super close specially the fig tree beach that is amazing.
