This was a very good find. Situated very near the central railway, Hostel Moravia also has a tram/bus stop outside the door. Literally - 3 steps from the bus and you are at the front door. Inside you'll probably be greeted by Radka who will give a quick tour and show you to your room. My room had a double bed that was very comfortable, along with a table that was good enough to work from, and wi-fi strong enough to hold a quick meeting on. The facilities - kitchen and shower - are shared. I never had any issues in accessing them, though I did go at a very quiet time of year. These communal areas are very clean. Other staff would check in to see if everything was okay. One time I needed a new towel and within a minute, I had a new towel. This is a really good independent business and if you're in Ostrava on a budget, you can't do better than this.

I’ve been renting rooms for >300$/day and they were not as clean as this one. Exceptional service when it comes to cleaning. Very convenient parking. Good staff. For me personally felt like returning to good old days when i was in university, but in the best way, since the room was nice.

Very nice hotel in a quiet area of Ostrava, just a short walk or very short trolleybus ride away from the city center and train station. Also the airport express bus stop is just beside the hotel (we came by train from Slovakia, left by plane to Poland, so tested both connections). Rooms are very comfy, clean and large, suites are perfection. We last stayed in this hotel back in 2017 when it operated under a different brand, and while it was great then, 7 years later it seems even better and cleaner, I guess they update the room decor regularly as it all seemed shiny and new. Very comfy beds. And the staff was also very nice. Mini bar stacked very well and they have vending machines near reception with even more stuff. A supermarket and a very cool local pizzeria/pub are located just across the street, check your map app, as they may be hard to see behind the trees, but they are there and the pizzeria is soooo tasty!

The host was incredibly friendly, contactable and helpful. Jan provided clear instructions and was very welcoming to his property. The apartment was truley unique and conveyed the history of Ostrava perfectly. I would 100% book again if I’m back in Ostrava.
