Hotel Calamus greeted us with a clean neat room. One of rare hotels where the bathroom is so spacious that you don’t think about where to put your clothes that it remains dry. It’s one of the hotels where you feel comfort in details: incredible interior of the restaurant, huge choice in a breakfast buffet (incl Prosecco, fresh fruits and berries), complimentary bottles of water at check out. Everything breathes with freshness like the hotel just opened its doors a few days ago. Great experience!

The staff Benjamin was very nice to fulfill our requests. He even moved his car from the parking space for providing us a space, and he proactively tried to find a water boiler. We are really grateful for the supports and also his smiles.

Friendly owners, went out of their way to help (e.g. offered to drive me to the train station after we had a small chat in the morning), and were accommodating when I booked for the wrong dates. My room was clean and everything worked and a bus not far away takes you to the train station so that you can explore the black forest region. And for such a good price too! I've been solo travelling Europe for around a month by now and this place rates amongst the best I've stayed at (for this price range)

Great hotel, pleasant staff who were always ready to help. The location of the hotel was basically a 2 minute walk from the train station. The rooms were comfy and the breakfasts were awesome! I'd definitely stay here on our next trip to Strassbourg.
